Our goal is to help you to be the best mother you can be from day one. The first step to that is a positive birth experience. No matter where or how you choose to give birth, Healthy Start offers free  education classes designed to help you to understand what will happen during birth, how your body will react and how you may feel. This environment is a non-judgmental zone – feel free to ask questions, share and learn in a safe space.

We partner with Indian River Medical Center to make your transition into motherhood as smooth as possible. Look for us in the purple scrubs.

We can also provide a doula – a non-medical support to assist with physical and mental needs.

If you choose to breastfeed – it is not always easy. Our Certified Lactation Counselors are bedside to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Each baby born here will receive a Baby Box at bedside. Baby Boxes provide a simple and safe sleep space, following the new American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation to keep your child close by for the first months to prevent SIDS.

“I would have been lost in the first days of my firstborn’s birth
without the guiding care and personal support of Healthy Start.”

Mandy, Mom of 2
